handwritten goodness
Just finished re-reading a stack of old Christmas/birthday/Valentine’s day/etc. cards and realized that we hardly handwrite messages or use the post anymore. We tell each other happy birthday/Christmas/new year/etc. via text messages, email, and facebook. While it’s quite convenient, there seems to be less thought and feeling put into the messages (usually). I hope that we can still write out thoughtful messages to loved ones once in a while, even if it takes longer to do so. Sentimental people like me appreciate it and will take them out from time to time just to reminisce. :] So, a goal in 2012 is to write more cards and notes again! Happy new year everyone. :)
