Solar Eclipse
Thank goodness for the beautiful solar eclipse to remind me that life is so much more than stressing out over midterms and lab reports this week! What a good way to end a birthday spent catching up on sleep. :)

Scarier things in the world have definitely happened, but personal scary/worrisome things have been happening recently. I pray for trust in His control of the world and every single being in it… and I’m incredibly grateful that my dad is okay.

Caught up with good, old friends and family today. It’s such a blessing to have these people in my life and even though I sacrifice sleep and energy to catch up with them, it is SO worth it. :) I’ll just have to really focus on work over the next few days before the busy weekend hits! Time to pray for some discipline…!
This week has been slightly reminiscent of middle school since I’m playing IM volleyball with LIFE fellowship and WongFu posted up a short about slow dancing. Though I went to dances in high school, I wasn’t nearly as nervous as when I was younger in middle school and the concept of dancing with a guy was a new thing. The short is very simple, but it’s cute and I like Phil’s commentary on it.

Also, volleyball is making my forearms spotted and I’ve already scraped my knee. Over time, I think I’ve become less graceful when playing sports. xP But it’s incredibly fun and I love fellowshipping through the game! It reminds me of those middle school days and bonding with girls then. :]
